Inpatient pain therapy
Our multimodal inpatient pain therapy concept is designed for children and adolescents with severe pain-related disability and their families. Admission to the inpatient ward is only possible where pain is causing a high degree of burden, such as when there is significant absence from school and severe ongoing pain.
If it becomes clear in the first or a subsequent outpatient consultation that inpatient treatment is required, the patient is put on a waitlist, if desired. The multimodal inpatient therapy lasts three weeks, in rare cases up to five weeks.
