About the German Paediatric Pain Centre
It’s a matter of deep concern to us to help children and adolescents with chronic pain get their pain under control and start living their lives to the fullest again. This also helps our society, since these children and adolescents can then reach their full potential, for instance, in school. Children and adolescents with chronic pain in Germany are often not taken seriously. So they suffer, not just from their chronic pain, but also from its negative consequences, such as depression, social withdrawal, and significant absence from school.
Our goal is to thoroughly inform those affected, their relatives and experts, and to optimize care, locally, regionally and country-wide.
