How did you find the time in Datteln as well as the time after the pain therapy?
The time in Datteln was very helpful; I shared a lot of experiences with other patients. I felt very protected, wasn’t laughed at and was taken seriously.

Did you get control of your pain and if so, how?
I got control of the pain easily with the Distraction ABC!

What helped you?
The talks with the pain therapists and psychologists as well as TENS.

What’s happening in your life now? What have you achieved since then?
I’ve got the headaches under control; that means I’ve learned how to deal with them.

I’ve been able to lose 10 kilos by enjoying sports.

TENS has helped me to relax, and I still use it a year after the stay at the clinic.

I’m now more capable of handling stress and can also go to school even with a headache and do everything that is expected of me.
